Severe personal distain with PEP and their Paxi service

I am severly disappointed in PEP and the Paxi service:

My wife is part of a whatsapp group for new mothers. Said group held an awesome secret santa initiative. Since we are new parents, we were overly attached to the idea of making another mother's Christmas that much brighter with a really personal an thoughtful gift. Since we were struggling financially, nearly all of the gifts were hand made, custom to what that mom adores including: home made cookies, home made scented candles, bath products and lotions, canvas and paint for her two little boys, and sets of clothes for her newborn. All taking about a month of consideration and preparation.

We proceded to send this parcel to the lady using PEP's Paxi system - in the end, the worst decision we could have made.

Messages came streaming across the group around Christmas about how excited the mommas were recieving their gifts. My wife literally sat on the edge of her seat for weeks, wondering what excitement and joy this gift would bring to her secret santa family.

In the new year, after extensive following up, she recieved word that, not only was the package late, but that the parcel had been ripped open and everything replaced will ***** of paper.

Our hearts are broken and I cannot explain the disappointment and discontent that my wife is feeling because of this.

I am really disapointed in PEP, and would encourage everyone that I meet to avoid this store and their services. *****ing money out of greed is one thing, but to invade someones lives by taking something this personal, in my opinion, speaks to a level of disrespect that one seldomly finds in a good willing and moral company.
