Hello Peter Last year October 2018 I bought a cellphone from pep store in welkom free state, mobicel R6,the cellphone worked well for three weeks or so (+-) then it started acting up it couldn't unlock the screen, so naturally one would without a second thought return it, I did that pep store stuff where very helpful, they booked it in after 2 weeks written on the contract i went back I was told to come after 4 weeks, I came back still there was no news for me it became 8 weeks, now it is 16 weeks still nothing from the cellphone manufacturer mobicel since they took the cellphone, yesterday I went to pep, again only to be told I must pay R270,to remove locking pattern and bypass it and also to pay for storage, when I asked them why haven't I receive any correspondence from you because you have my cellphone number? No sms no phone call and now you expect me to pay you for storage and repairs, and what about the your guarantee and warranty on the manual book and the boks container? I was only told it is the company policy,I asked does your policy protect only your business and not the consumer, I was again told we don't make the rules we follow them, pep stores are the cheapest in our country people who are on a tight budget by from them but now how do we trust their, communication products? Can we rely on what they sell to the people of our country? What do we say to the people who rely on pep and their products? Can we support their sales? PEPCOR you have been doing so well till now, I'm your client why now. Do you treat me like these?south Africa is it only me or is there more people who experienced this treatment, SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME, 081 I'M SAM
