Request to view camera footage

I had forgotten a broom i bought at Parklands(Table View) PEP stores and when i went back to inquire wether or not they had seen the brrom i was told no. I then further requested to see the camera footage so as to see who might have taken the broom and was told i am not allowed to. A lady by the name of Faieza was supposedly the manager came across as very rude to me and could not give me an explanation as to why i cannot view the footage.
