Refused to use PASSPORT at Pep Cell for Sim Swap

On Wednesday, 29th January 2025 I was refused to do a SimSwap at Mall of The South Pep Cell because I had a passport not an ID for South Africans.... whereas the pepcell website states that a person can use an ID or SA passport irrespective of their nationality. I was and still so disappointed in this. I mean, the passport - has both the passport number and ID number and I've used it for other services at pep but this lady didn't seem to be interested at all in assisting me.
