Refusal to exchange faulty goods
Late Afternoon on the 8th on the Sep, we purchased A ZTE Blade C310 from PEP Cell In Alberon City.

Two days later the touch screen started freezing in text messages as well as phone calls. This phone was bought for the purpose of a main incoming Business line, so was a serious problem.

We took the phone in to Pep Cell on Thursday or Friday to show them the problem. Unfortunately the phone did not show the same faults at the shop.

So we went home and used the phone as is, and the problem persisted intermittently so it was still livable. However, today, the 15th September, the phone froze up totally. We could not take a call or switch it off via the power button.

I rushed over to PEP Cell immediately with the faulty phone. I was told by Gontse that I am lucky as I am still in my 7 day exchange period. The she went to the back office and came back and told me that it could not be exchanged, and Mastununu explained the system wont accept it. It would be repaired.

This is totally unacceptable as we went in 2 or 3 days after we noted the fault and it was not exchanged. We go back 4 days later with the same fault & we are turned away.

We are sitting with a brand New Faulty phone.
