Refunds policy that's nonsense

I bought an iron in November at pep in Melville, the iron just stopped working and now they refuse to take it for repairs because it doesn't have its original packaging, I mean like I stay in a tiny place I cannot afford to keep the packaging of everything that I buy. I dnt know if they be happy if I go take out the box in the trash bin and take it to them with that smell and dirt, their actions are actually forcing me to do just that 😏😏.i mean I just threw away the box few days ago not knowing the iron will drop me
