Refund pocily is bad

I have a major problem with your return policy. Yesterday I got a brand new phone as a gift from an elderly family friend purchased in Centurion. Although the slip states that this person agrees to the product specs,I do not as the phone is useless for MY needs,not what she thaught would be good. The phone cant even make use lf whatsapp,yhe mwmory is 4Gb only and means it will run out of space in 2 months or lesa. It was used for less than 15mins after turning it on and now Gezina PEP refuses to refund me so I can buy a better phone.
