REFUND OF R913.63

I went to a PEP in Durban on the 4th October 2018 while I was on holiday. I decided to pick up a few things as that was the nearest shopping complex near UShaka Marine. The items that I got totalled an amount of R913.63. The man at the till swiped my card and then stated that the transaction was unsuccessful on his end. I proceeded to show him the notification of the reserved amount on my phone but he stated that he cannot give me the items. I spoke to the Manager Prissy and I was advised that it should reverse. The man said I should return in 48 hours with a statement if it hasn't. My mother thankfully had her card on her and paid for the items. Meanwhile on the 5th a confirmation was sent that the funds have been withdrawn by the store. I went back after the specified 48 hours and was told I need to go to my bank of which they could not help because the funds were already taken by the store . I am absolutely livid by the service I received and the unprofessionalism of Prissy, the back and forth was a waste of time and money. I also spoke to one of the area managers who was of no help to me. Now I'm still sitting 913.63 short as there was no refund. None of the stores in Johannesburg can help me either. All I want is my money back.
