Poor service

On the 28/08/2026, I bought a Funki Dual USB Charger at Pep Guguletu Mall. I used twice but noticed even though it's written faster charge on the box, it is too slow. On the 6th of September, I tried to return it at the same store but the lady that assisted me (which I have now forgotten her name), refused to take it back saying I need to go get a cable and a plug for her to test it, she cannot take it back just because I don't want it anymore, even though I did tell her it takes forever to charge and I don't want it hence I'm returning it. I found that really disconcerting because when I bought it, the lady( Jabulile) advised me that if I wanna return it, I need to bring it back within 6 months in the box with the proof of purchase. Hardly a week later, I am now getting a totally different statement to how to return something I am not happy with. Yes, I paid only R60 for the item in question but it is money well earned to be wasted. Also, the way the lady handled the situation was very disappointing. Can I not return an item when I am not happy with? That's my question....
