Poor Customer Service

I went to the Emalahleni (Witbank) branch on 3 March 2021 and got the most appalling poor customer service. I only needed to send a small parcel to Pretoria. Little did I know my day would be ruined. I was told I needed to get a stand number of PEP in Pretoria after being told that all PEP Stores have a stand number, logic kicked in as that is the case for all buildings and houses. I asked the care-free cashier if she could not call PEP Eastlynne, when she rudely told me I must get the stand number to be able to send the parcel. I used my data to call PEP Store in Easrlynne after getting its contact details from Google, so if I did not have data my aim to send the parcel same day was not going to work . I was confused not knowing what she was talking about at first as stand number did not fit the parcel sending process as normally we use the address for the post office. I became anxious ansand asked her name which she ignored me about. I asked for the manager who quickly emerged from the close by office. I explained to him why I was panicking and complaining when he explained to me the reason for the use of the stand number and showed me where to find them inside the store. The manager with the name tag Bonginkosi asked the cashier who has wronged me to apologise as she did not have a name tag. The cold cashier murmured an apology and she could barely help me afterwards as she asked me to move to the next cashier lady. I did and got quick clearly explained service.

I was shocked as I have never gotten bas customer service from any PEP Store before.

I enjoy shopping at PEP Witbank Mall, the Grove Mall, Silveron and Earlynne all the time.

I am just suggesting that this lady be trained for customer service to be ready to handle people effectively before she can be put in the front desk.
