Poor Customer Service at PEP Stores Lyttelton
am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service my 19-year-old son received at PEP Home Stores Lyttelton yesterday. He visited the store to send a Paxi parcel and was assisted by a lady named Keamogetswe.
The issue arose when my son purchased a bag (*** C20 BAG) for R59.99. After closing the bag, he was informed by the controller that it was torn and not properly closed. Despite my son's insistence that the bag was closed correctly, the controller refused to accept the parcel and forced him to purchase another Paxi bag for R59.00.
I am appalled by the controller's behavior, which was condescending and bullying. Her failure to advise or demonstrate how to properly close the bag was unacceptable. The situation escalated to the point where my son exchanged words with the controller.
As a result, my son had to walk back home, having unnecessarily paid for two bags. I request that the controller be disciplined for her poor behavior. If this matter is not addressed, I will be forced to escalate the complaint further.
