Poor Customer Service and Bad Attitude:
Poor Customer Service and Bad Attitude:
I went to PEP Store on Thursday, 18 August 2022, at 10:23AM. When I got to the payment queue at the tills. There were two PEP staff members, a female and male. I was next to go, to the female PEP attendant. As I got closer to the till, she was distracted by another lady from the staff member side of the till counter. The female at the till rep**** without excusing herself from me or explaining. She stood at the till for about 5 minutes, looked at me in the eyes without uttering a word before dashing away. I stood before the till counter wondering if she was coming back or if soemthing was wrong. Quickly the second lady asked me to use the next till of the male staff member. I was shocked at the appaling poor customer service. No excusing themselves or explaining to me what was going on, as I only had 3 items which I believe I should have been helped to pay for before leaving the till unattended. Besides, the queue suddenly filled up with people wanting to pay. 6 to 10 people waited there to be served by the male staff member who was working alone. This does not give a good impression of the store as the customers must stand in long queues with 1 till operating by 1 person. It is time consuming and worst of all. The unacceptable behaviour of the female till attendant was disgusting. Can the store Supervisor or Manager do something about staff training of good customer service. To make customers enjoy a smooth and quick buying experience at this PEP Store in down town Emalahleni Witbank.
