Poor customer service
This yesterday morning I went to buy at some few items at pep stores Khayelitsha mall and I got there at 8:45,which is fine they are opening at 9:00am. But at 9:00 am the store was not opened, five minutes later they posted a note stating that their systems are not working we should expect them to open at 9:30.
Well we waited for the time stated, then at 9:35 the store was opened we entered at to be told that the system is still offline. We cannot used bank cards or any services besides paying cash. All this while we waited we had to go and withdraw money, these people wasted our time by not informing us on time so we can make an alternative. It is frustrating to wait that long to be told that you need to go and withdraw cash, as if you are buying at a ****a shop. They concluded by saying all pep stores their systems are down, but I went to pep in Phillipi and their system didn't have any issues. This was not the first incident were pep store in Khayelitsha mall on Sunday opening at 9:30, I would like to know what makes pep Khayelitsha mall differ from other stores? Why are they always doing things different? What is the pep store policy? Is it acceptable to open at 9:30 keep the que long outside as we were are waiting for a sassa grant? Is it how you treat us as your clients, because it is not a pleasant thing to watch.
Please fix this other pep stores in surrounding areas are being opened on time. We have elderly people who had to stand on the que for a store that always delay to let people inside. And accept cash only, we qued outside pep for 35 minutes when you are inside you have to go and withdraw to come back and stand on a que again? That is pathetic
