Poor assistance

It is 9h00 in the morning Tuesday 19/12/2023. People are queuing from early in the morning to be assisted. Inside Pep Kuruman in Livingstone Street, the one next to Roots, the queue is from the till to far at the back of the shop and continue to grow longer. There is only 2 cashiers, working so slow, a hour later a 3rd cashier come. I spend a full 1 1/2 hour to pay for one item of R49.00. It is festive, every where you go is busy and shops are overflowing of customers, but as a manager what do you do so that the customers can be assisted quickly and efficiently. I assume the lady who came out to tell us we must stand back in a proper queue must be the manager, instead of getting more cashiers to get the queue moving quicker to not clogg the shop and the till point. You cannot tell me that cashiers are tired at 09h00 in the morning, we know working in retail is not easy but PLEASE, up your game in servicing your customers quicker. If you can't handle the heat than stay out of the kitchen.
