PEPCELL / MTN MOBICEL FORCE ****

I went into the PEP Cellular store at Diamond Pavillion Mall in Kimberley today to purchase 2 Mobicel Force cellular phones that is network locked to MTN for R499 each. The MTN sim airtime of R30 X 1 per cell was purchased with the promise of R30 = 18GB anytime data plus 500 MB You Tube data. The data never came through on the cellphone and the store refused to refund my R60 (R30 x 2) when I cancelled the deals. It appears that this cellular which is networked locked is being used to fund MTN's coffers and the data deals never materialised. I spent almost 3 hours between PEP cell Kimberley and MTN store and no one wanted to refund my R60. When dialing *136# to load the data, it shows a O balance and it never came through on the cellphone. MTN must not make promises to clients just to lure them in and then no data is forthcoming. The lady at the MTN store told me that they cannot refund me for a faulty SIM card!!!! I want my money back and will not do business with MTN or PEP cell in future.
