Pep Stylo cellphone (avoid at all costs)

Bought a Pep brand, Stylo cellphone on Friday for an employee. He took it home, plugged it in and it did not charge. When he pulled out the cable, a piece of the cable part remained in the charging port of the phone. We took it back today and they say I cannot get my money back, it has to be sent off to be repaired, which should take roughly 4-6 weeks. Surely it should just be replaced with a new phone? Now will need to buy another phone for him to use in the mean time, so that we can keep in contact between sites. He was ****** at gunpoint and beaten up, for his phone last week.
