PEP STORE - DENNIS HURLEY (QUEEN STREET) BRANCH IN DURBAN - RUDE BEHAVIOUR

On Monday 11th of November 2019 in the afternoon, I visited Pep Store in Denis Hurley Street (previously known as Queen Street) in Durban. I saw these beutitiful shoes but I had no enough money but then I remembered that at Pep you can lay bye plus I didn't want to come back later because ladies size 9 shoes are very scarce. . Therefore I decided to put a lay bye on these shoes that were costing R159.99. To my surprise I was rudely told that they don't do layby for 1 item. I then went home. But when I was at home I decided to go back there since I loved the shoes and added 2 more items on top of this pair of shoes. To my surprise again the next day when I was at till I was told that I cant lay bye 3 items only (at that time the total amount of the 3 items was R279.97. I then asked why, and how may items do Pep stores accept for layby, I was rudely answered by Pep store employee Lindani that It has to be a big bag because if it is a small pack , it will get ******. To cut the story short, because I was desperate for the shoes I ended up lay bying clothes for R339.95 INSTEAD of R159.99.

I feel that your employees in that store are rude and have no straight answers for like even simple straight question of how many items can I lay by or minimum total amount I can layby for, instead they answer rudely and say you are wasting their time. I was there at 16:30 Can Pep tell us terms and conditions cause I find it unfair for me to end up laybying the whole shop yet I needed 1 item for R159.99 only
