PEP STORE CRESTA MALL - MONEY TRANSFER THEFT/*****/****

Am so disappointed and sad. My mom did two money transfers transactions at PEP STORE at CRESTA MALL yesterday (04/10/2024) , one for R2000 and one for R1000 and was helped by a cashier. When i went to redeem the cash at Absa, it returned that the withdrawals were already redeemed. She recalls being squeezed in at the tills and a man behind her being close but they were moving them around, so that could have been when they took details or the work in together with the cahsier...... She returned to the store and advise them so that they can maybe check cameras of how they got the reference and the pin when she did the transaction and could it be a job that included the cashier giving out the details (no one knows) and they just told her nothing they can do but to call the number on the slip to report. She called and reported today and she was advised the cash was withdrawn at Northgate Mall and one at Cosmo City in hours apart after mom transferred the money. SHE DID NOT GIVE THE PIN NOR THE REFERENCE, How did they do it?. She had to open a case which is not a guarantee of the cash back and it is such a straining activity given she is an old person. Opening a case does not guarantee a return of cash and we desperately need this money. THIS IS UNFAIR for people like us in financial need and that being the last money. How can this happen? how will we get footage if the process is this long and unreasonable and also the store being unhelpful. PLEASE HELP AND RETURN THE MONEY.
