PEP *****s from the elderly
My mom who is a pensioner bought a phone for R 160 at PEP Pimville Square. When she got home the phone doesn’t work with her Vodacom contract SIM card that is under my name. The phone she was given came with a CELL C SIM card. When she returned it after two days of struggling with it the store manager said she will not take it back because Vodacom SIM cards don’t work on that phone. I called and asked her why didn’t she tell mama that before she took her pension money she told me it’s not her job to educate the customer. I asked that doesn’t PEP comply with CPA when it come to retuning goods because she had the phone for two days and she me told PEP has its own t&c. I told my mom to take the slip and leave the phone with her at that store. Can PEP refund my mother her R160! This is not right. PEP is *****ing from the elderly! My mother tells me she was sitting with another granny who was returning the same phone and was told they won’t take it back she must do a sim swap. Why is PEP doing this to old people? Is it because our elderly are staying at Soweto? Please refund my mom her R160, your phone is at the store. My mom uses my vodacom contract SIM card she can’t do a sim swap!!
