PEP sells rooter with 100gigs data but its 4gig

Today we bought a Huawei 4G mobile rooter from PEP for R299. The display in the shop said "Huawei 4G mobile rooter on Vodacom 50Gig+50Gig free data for R299" After we paid the starter pack said 2Gig+2Gig,when we asked they said that we get the 2+2gig data but if we want the 50+50gig data we must not use the rooter for 7 days,after some research i found out this isnt true. Next to the R299 vodacom rooter was a R99 MTN rooter thet includes 10+10gigs of data,but we bought the vodacom one for the 50+50gig that has turned out to be 2+2 gig,should i not get what the display in the shop says PEP?
