pep sells damaged goods as
My fiance bought a mobile phone on the 02 march 16, this was the same day I moved to a new place. Later that evening I took the photo <br> from its box and charged it. As I was checking out my new phone, I noticed that the device had a lot of scratch on the back , paint was chipped. The next day I took the device back to the store. I spoke to the assistant manager ( as manager was not on duty). She advice that the device cannot be exchanged, or refunded as it has physical damage. I advice her that I bought the device and learnt it had. Scratches and looked like a second hand device,She confirmed the device i got was the one which was on display and that customers were welcome to view, touch. And explore the devices on display. I asked her whether it was possible to exchange the device as the one i received is not new but from the display. She Insisted that it is not a fault on their side. A part from being given attitude by the staff for questioning them about what there procedure was- i was involved in an accident then said I should return when the manager was back. Thus after waiting for more than hour. The following day I went back and spoke to the manager and cental manager
