Pep Riversands!

I was refused entry at Pep Riversands due to my 2 year old eating an apple. The lady security told me to step out as food was not allowed in the store. My question is then WHY SELL FOOD?! But anyway, I politely asked her let me shop as I was literally carrying the baby she was not going to touch anything. While talking to the security another lady approached us, I assume she’s the store manager, she reiterated food was not allowed in the store which I completely understand. Based on the incident, I was carrying a baby not a kid. The baby was having an apple not Chocolate or anything messy. When such rules are set stores also need to use their discretion and be rational. Having said that she wanted me to carry on shopping after making her understand my point but a very poor reception received wouldn’t let me.
