PEP MONEY MARKET ****

On 13/02/2024 my brother went to deposit R2000 for me at PEP MADADENI BOXER CENTRE money market , when I went to withdraw the money at absa , the receipt said that the voucher had already been redeemed, my brother went back to ask what had ha, they said they don’t know, he asked for the manager, he was told that there is no manager. He asked for the footage and they said it would only be available After a month. They told him that they have 3 cases of the same thing that happened in December 2023 but nothing was done about it.

He called absa and was told that the money was withdrawn at the absa atm right opposite the same pep just 5 minutes after he had made the deposit. Pep customer care said that they cannot refund us , we must open a case of theft and *****.

My brother opened the case at Madadeni police station , we are still waiting for the investigation. I believe that pep employees are ****ming customers.

I posted on a on the Facebook page Newcastle classifieds and many people came forward saying that pep stores all over are doing this **** . PEP should investigate their employees or cancel money market once and stick to selling clothes , because customers can’t keep loosing their hard earned money and nothing gets done !!
