Pep making customers feeling unwelcome!!!!!

I went to pep Aliwal North yesterday, as I was leaving the lady at the door asked me to check my handbag. i asked her why and all she could say is that she is doing her job. today i went to pep again. my husband was busy paying and i was standing about two meters away from the same lady at the door. i was looking at her and notice that she did not check the lady before me bag, only her plastic pep bag, not the handbag. when i got to the door to go out she checked the plastic bag my husband had and again checked my handbag. i again asked her why, still the same reply. i told her that i was watching her and she did not even checked the other ladies bag that went out just before me, lying in my face saying she did. i do understand why they need to check...….. but please pep get another way to ensure no theft happens in you stores. this is really not nice for pep employees going through SOME customers PERSONAL handbags. it really makes you feel UNWELCOME!!!!!!!!!
