PEP Home *****s customer's money and spits in their faces.
I went into PEP Home, President Hyper Square in Krugersdorp/Mogale City. I wanted to buy batteries and to withdraw R200.00. The amount was R254.99 and I gave the teller my bank card. The date was 25/05/24. I immediately received a notification on my cell phone that the amount was withdrawn. The teller then told me and about 4 other customers that something went wrong with the transactions. They asked us to wait because it would take about 40 minutes before all the transactions will be reversed. This never happened. I spoke to the manager of the store, Bianca and she was screaming so loud at me that I had to wipe her spit of my face. She screamed at me and said: "You will just have to wait, lovey." Every time she spoke to me, my face was covered with her spit.
Well, it is now 28/05/2024 and the money is still missing. I phoned PEP customer services about 5 times and was told that the area manager will phone me back. No area manager phoned me back.
I have paid almost R150.00 by now to call PEP Customer Service.
The same lady who was spitting in my face phoned me back his morning (28 May) and told me to come to the store with my bank account. It will cost me another R200.00 for an Uber to get there.
I now have no choice than to go to the police station and open a case against PEP Home for theft and verbal assault.
I am 70 years old and if this is how PEP Stores are treating senior citizens, I will warn the public. Ii can be reached at ***
