Pep Home Bloemfontein

I opened a lay-by at Pep home last year and honestly forgot about it. I went to the store to find out if the lay-by is still active. I did not expect it to be active. I was advised that it is no longer active. The lady who assisted me advised me that I need to provide a certified copy of my id in order to show that I cancelled the lay-by in order for them to refund me the funds that has been paid which I don't understand as I did not provide a certified copy of my id when I opened the lay-by.
