PEP displays a price and then refuse to honour it

A sales price of R40 was advertised with kids winter jackets hanging below the advertised price. The price tag on the jacket however was showing R70. When I asked a sales person if the sales price was valid he could not help me and went to call another person. A lady arrived and told me the sale was not applicable to the jackets despite it clearly hanging below the sale adverti*****t. When I asked to speak to the manager she told me that she was the manager and could not give the jackets to me at the displayed price. When I started mentioning false advertising she had the jackets removed and hung it at a different place. She then hung shirts in its place.<br> <br> This in my opinion is a store that does not know how to advertise their items and then refuse to honour their advertised prices which leads to false advertising
