Pep Cullinan regional manager ***********

Bought a poncho on the 18th Feb, it tilled at R36.99 at the registry; the cashier then manually changed the price to R49.99. When I asked him why he did that he said the pricing could not be correct citing his work experience & he was unreasonable. Lodged a complaint online with pep & the call centre followed up with a call about an hour later, the lady was quiet pleasant & said she'd refer the issue to the regional manager. The regional manager calls on the 20th Feb & she was unhelpful, to her this was stuff of much laughs & very dismissive attitude, very unfriendly & quiet aggressive. She re**** only on the shop report she recieved & was unwilling to take into account my side of the argument. The report was fictitious, something about the cashier manually pricing the item lower- I asked her when- before or at the point of purchase? She wouldn't say. At the end she said I'm allowed to fetch the difference from the said pep Cullinan store. Now I must spend more money on petrol in an attempt to recoup the difference. My question is what measures are in place to stop this from happening again, & what empowered the cashier to think that he is allowed to up prices at the till contrary to the system price. That regional manager is ***********; she has no listening s****s, lacks phone etiquette, has poor communication s****s & has no problem solving s****s- I just wonder how she got appointed!
