Pep company stole my goods

Please help me find justice or my money back...im from Newcastle KZN i went to Pep to send a parcel to a customer on Bloem...after 3 days when the customer called regarding her parcel..when i tried to track it..only to find that it says LOST now when i call a company...they only apologizing telling me they can only compensate me with R500 for parcel worth R2800.
