Pep Clothing Store

I love shopping at Pep for myself and especially for my kids and for babies that I have in my foster and/or safety care. On Saturday 2 May 2020, I wen to Pep Okavango Crossing and bought 2 boys trackpants and 1 boys winter pj's. I am not allowed to take my kids to the shops, I therefore got the size from my kids over the phone. Unfortunately the stuff was miles too big, which they were only able to try on when I got home. I immediately called the store and spoke to the Manageress, Florence. She was very friendly and said I should call the Customer Care Line to follow up the fact that they won't do an exchange or refund until Lockdown is on Phase 1. I called the Customer Line and I was given the same nonsense about no exchanges or refunds. I am furious because why then is the chain store open, it's nice to take customers money, and it's nice to be open during Lockdown Phase 4, but kids can't try stuff on until I get home. I bought these 3 items as my boys have zero winter clothes and they grow out of things from season to season. Other stores like Mr Price, Cotton On, Superbalist - they are all accepting returns for refunds or exchanges, no questions no issues (as it should be). Pep claims its due to germs on clothing, did they forget people come to their stores and touch stuff while shopping, pick things up, put things back etc. So if they are so concerned about germs on clothing then please they should not be trading at all in this time. I want my money back, because by now there will be no sizes for my boys clothes because everyone is shopping for winter stuff. I will happily exchange for smaller sizes IF there is stock otherwise I want my money back.

I have just seen on Facebook that Pep is now as of today, doing exchanges and refunds. Thank you
