Customer Service & Queue Management Protocol
1. Service Standard
Professional and respectful customer service is mandatory at all times. Every customer must be greeted formally ("Good day, Sir/Ma'am") and treated with attentiveness, regardless of store volume.
2. Queue Management (20+ Minute Delays)
When wait times exceed operational standards:
Floor managers or staff must walk the line to acknowledge waiting customers directly.
Standard Announcement: "Good day, everyone. We sincerely apologize for the queue delay today. We have two cashiers ringing up orders as quickly as possible, and we greatly appreciate your patience."
3. Service Refusals & Policy Escalations
Blunt statements such as "Sorry sir, we can't send this" are prohibited. Staff and managers must handle restrictions using a three-step approach:
Acknowledge: "I understand your concern and appreciate your patience."
Explain: "Due to [specific policy/system restriction], we cannot process this transaction directly because..."
Offer Solutions: "What I can do right now is [alternative option/support escalation]. Or refer you to a different company
4. Leadership Mandate
Regional and Area Managers must conduct active in-store training and role-playing scenarios on floor engagement, queue handling, and professional communication during every store visit.
I am myself a Store Manager and in my Store we don't allow this type of Customer Service we give customers the best customer service, as Customers keep our doors open
This isn't the first bad experience I've encountered even my colleagues have complained..
I hope the Next time I visit the store the customer service has improved
Thank you Kind Regards
