PEP Account Application

My experience started about 6 to 7 weeks ago. Walk into a PEP store to open an Account. Get told the representatives doing the applications is at the PEP Home store about half a block away, so we wait. The person was called and later the PEP Store employee went to the other store to collect the consultant doing the applications, at no avail, he was busy. I was told that the paperwork required for an application is my ID and either 3 months' pay slips or 3 months bank statements. A few days pass an I decide to go to the PEP Home store with my ID and 3 months' pay slips. After waiting 5 min the consultant is with me and we complete the application in store on his tablet. All done and I leave. 3 weeks pass and I get no phone call or even a SMS regarding my application. I decide to phone customer care just to be told that they need Bank statements and not pay slips. First irritation complete. Thus, I get my bank certified bank statements and mail it to them after verifying twice the e-mail address and the subject line I need to enter. Almost 2 weeks pass and no communication. Second irritation complete. I contact customer care again just to be told they have not received any e-mail from me. I verify the e-mail address again and get told to fone back in 30 minutes. Third irritation complete. After an hour I fone back, now to be told that I need to go back to a store and complete a application form and not the electronic application as my application has been pending for more than 18 days. I communication to them that the stores in my town does not do such applications, just to be told they have to. This store has no structure and the customer care personele does not have a clue about the application processes at their stores. I was going to be a loyal customer with quite a substantiable credit, but if this is the service I would rather seek another store for my purchases. No recommendation from me to open a PEP Account
