Paxi Couriers

On 7th December I sent a parcel from Pep in Hayfields to Pep at Brackenfell Fairbridge . According to their tracking information it was at a Cape hub on 13th December "ready for collection" it remained like this for several days until I went to Pep in Hayfields to query it. The manager there phoned them and about three hours later the tracking service suddenly showed that the parcel was at Fairbridge ready for collection. (After 18pm). I notified the recipient and sent the pin to her. However the parcel was not at Pep Fairbridge. The customer "Help number" does not seem to function as it just keeps on ringing. Finally on 24th December I received an sms that there were 6 days left to collect the parcel. Now I wonder how can this parcel be collected when it is not there???????? I finally found a website of Paxi on which I stated that the parcel could not be collected as I was told by sms because it was not there. I received email from Paxi that they would respond after 24 hours. The 24 hours have stretched into weeks and there has not been any response. This truly STINKS. Customers should be made aware of this before they make use of this "service". Instead , when getting the cash slip for courier service, at the bottom of the cash slip is a disclaimer...... I would advise others who are being taken in by this organization to go to Consumer Protection Council immediately instead of wasting their money and losing their parcels to a company that has no interest in "customer service" . I am done with both Pep and Paxi
