No policy displayed

We visited Pep Store in Liberty Promenade Mitchells Plain today the 16th October 2025 around 4pm. We wanted to shop a few things at the store and entered the store with our trolley. At the door a staff member told us that trolley's were not allowed. I had to wait outside while my wife shopped inside. I stood at the front door and I looked for signage on their front shop windows that says that no trolleys are not allowed. There was no signage at all that notified customers of their NO TROLLEY policy. I mentioned this to the staff member at the front door and she just said that they do not have a sign displaying their policy. I worked in retail for many years and the store should have this policy displayed at their front door to notify customers. I felt very upset that I had to stand outside whilst my wife was inside. We would have purchased a large amount but due to this exchange I decided to take my business elsewhere.
