No fitting no return

I went to buy bra's for my daughter. I was not allowed to fit any items nor may i return any purchases if it doesn't fit. How the hell must you know which size fits if you are not allowed to fit anything. This is unacceptable and against the consumer protection law as far as my knowledge goes.
