I am a very disappointed customer , who was ill treated at the Diepkloof square branch. I went to the store for an exchange as the clothes that my aunt bought for my child were not fitting her (too small). I didn’t have a slip but the tags were attached to the clothes. I was rudely told they don’t exchange if I don’t have a slip I must take the clothes back home and keep them as no exchange will be done and if im not happy about that I can call the head office and report this or log a complaint. I was so shocked on the response and asked to speak to the manager of the store . A lady come don’t even think it was the manager told me to call the head office there is nothing she can do .
I deal with clients on a daily basis and happen to know what customer service is and how to talk to a client. I know my consumers rights and will not accept to be treated like a nobody. Funny enough the next day I went to the southgate mall were they simply took the clothes and exchanged for me with ought any questions asked . I was even thinking im dreaming .
Why is it that if you go to a local centre / square we being treated unfairly. I just cant stand a black woman treating me a if im nothing when serving me and I happen to have noticed that we have no respect and morals for each other . Is this how PEP store treats the elderlies as well as black community. The service is shocking and so perthitic , its actually appalling. I wasted my petrol to go to Southgate mall instead of being serviced in Diepkloof were I stay . Im so disappointed at all this and trust staff should be trained on how to speak to customers and how to service not the creepy service I received. Im VERY ANNOYED and don’t think I will ever go to that store again. I would kindly like to get feedback on this matter if possible.
Regards
Annoyed customer
