Lost slip and cant exchange chair

I bought a study chair at pep home in Randburg in May 2020. Unfortunately the chair is broken barely 5 months later. Called the store for an exchange and was told to bring the car with the receipt. Unfortunately I have misplaced the slip and the store does not do reprints and they wont take proof of payment from my bank statement as evidence of purchase. I honestly do not know what to do next as the store supervisor refuses to take the proof of payment and the risk officer who is not in will reprint the slip.
