Lie for a service at Pep Home

So I went to Pep home Mall Of The North to buy a cellphone on sunday (09 January 2022) the Hisense E31 that I bought it's locked for mtm network in sim1 but u can use sim two for other sim cards I was assisted by Tshego. So when I get home the phone doesn't have network at all, it says no service on the same Mtn sim card I am supposed to use, then I put in a telkom simcard in the phone to use them both but both the simcards still says no service, so on Wednesday (12 January 2022) I took it back and explained the situations to the same Tshego guy, he refused to exchange the phone and then called Maphuti they both refused to exchange the phone and there's nothing they can do, then Tshego had the audacity to say I should have just **** to them to say I no longer want a phone....would I buy a phone that I dnt want? Would u spend R1700 on a phone for it not to work when u home and be told to lie so that u get it exchanged?

I ddnt say I want my money back. All I was asking for was to exchange the phone for a phone that works better and can have network when I am home.
