Lay-bye returned to the floor before expiry date

I'm so disappointed in the service I have received at PEP stores in Parow centre yesterday 01/09/15.I had a lay-bye with them which only expires on the 30/09/2015,only to find when I wanted to collect the laybye yesterday I was told that my goods was already taken to the floor. The cashier that assisted me was so abrupt and rude when I asked her how this is possible if my lay-bye only expires on 30/09/15.She abruptly told me that I had to make regular payments which I then told her is not of relevance as my lay-bye expiry date is 30/09/2015.I have made plenty of lay-bye's and have never experienced this before. She called the manager (Nazrene) whom said that she will investigate which I know now defeats the purpose of my lay-bye as I won't get my GOODS !!!!!. I left the store and returned after a while as I requested for my refund, as it is inevitable that I will not get my GOODS. I am appalled at this cashier who thinks that it is right for her to speak to me her customer in such a manner, and also expect to receive some kind of explanation to what happened with my lay-bye.
