Language **************

Good day,

My name is Ilona Mokoena. On Tuesday 2018-08-14 at about 09:30 i went to Pep Stores at Station Square/Mall in Pretoria close to Bosman Station. I had a Pick n Pay parcel in my hand with two items in it. I entered the the store and a gentleman bald headed dressed in Pep uniform past me. I dont recall him greeting, he was talking as he passed me but I did not understand the language so I assumed he spoke to someone else. I browsed through the clothes and the gentleman passed me again and looked at me irritatingly and saying somethin I did not understand. I told him in Afrikaans that I dont understand him. That was the cherry on the cake if looks could ****.......He pointed at me stiil speaking in a language I dont understand saying the same thing over again. He was furious because I didnt understand and was talking to himself in his language. I WILL NOT BE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BECAUSE I DO NOT UNDERSTAND A LANGUAGE. I AM A SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL WHO NEEDS TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT JUST AS YOUR EMPLOYEE WANTS TO BE RESPECTED. MY LANGUAGE AFRIKAANS WILL BE TREATED LIKE RESPECT AS I TREAT OTHER PEOPLES LANGUAGE WITH RESPECT. HOW DO YOU TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES? PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AND I SEE IT AS SERIOUS

I dont know who to contact but I will find the correct channel or I will knock on a different door. Mary Anne from customer service contacted me on 15 August 2018 and that was the last I heard of PEP. She told me she will escalate the matter to the area manager. I see this as serious and no I will not leave it or forget about it. No one even contacted me again not even to say that they are still investigating. How professional will you get?
