Lack of management

On the 26th of February 2021, I was at pep westonaria with my sister and the heavy rain got us while inside. I am expecting on my 3rd trimester and I handed my phone to my sister, when we got out of the shop after the rain calmed down, because it was already late I I recognize that my phone is not switching on I thought it was flat and I charged it but still the screen doesn't light. I took it to the guys for repairs but I was told that water has totally damaged my phone.

I then went to the shop and asked to speak to the manager regarding the situation but I was not given any opportunity to give the side of my story but I was told about how they have lost stock due to the people who were inside and stole from the shop.

I think they want to use that as an excuse for the not to pay for my phone. It is still new and I bought during January 2021.
