Irate customer

I purchased a dstv decoder at pep Nkomo village. Then I lodged a complaint to pep customer service informing that I was not told that I had to buy a new LNB when upgrading to explora. I was using HD decor and I had informed the cashier who was assistinge me that I was upgrading to Explora. I went it the shop to get a refund. Then the cashiers called the manager, then manager Lebogang dismissed my query and said he will not refund me because I opened the box. He was rude and unprofessional then I left the decoder in the shop. Annilize potgiter called me and said there is nothing she can do I should find someone to buy the decoder. After I had informed her I wanted a refund because I did not budget for a new LNB worth R500. I am unhappy with the manner that manger of the store and Annilize handled my query. They are all unprofessional and rude. It is my right as a customer to be informed and educated about the products, benefits and features of products you are selling for the fact that i gave the cashier a hint that I want to upgrade she was supposed to inform me of what is needed when I bought the decoder and if I knew that new installation would be needed I would not have bought Explora. Your stuff and managers are unprofessional. I am requesting my refund and I will also lodge a complaint with the ncc. Annilize potgiter as the regional manager she was supposed to do a better job in handling my query and she did nothing. But to tell me that I have to find someone to sell it because I registered the decoder. And the reason why I register the decoder was because I didn't know why it was not working when I plugged it in. I was informed by multi choice guys that I needed a new LNB for Explora to work. Something that should have been communicated to me when I purchased the decoder at pep. Did you guys not have training about dstv products. I will lodge a complaint with NCC as well. I will not leave the poor service and professional mangers. How maby people are treated like these.
