Injured customer

My name is Tebogo. On the 13th of December 2023. I went shopping for an item at Pep Clothing Westgate, while shopping I stumbled upon a steel shoe rail causing an injury on my eye..I then reported to the manager who HAD NO IDEA on how to assist me with my injury because non has ever occured in the shop. She did not even offer to call a medic for me, all she wanted to offer was a bottle of water. The lady was clueless, to a point where she would just let me go with no resolution. I suggested to her to call the area manager and report the matter for her to get light. Now...the area manager was unreachable. I then left the store to see a doctor because my eye started swelling and had turned red. No one of the managers at Pep Stores Westgate tried to call me to check on how I was in terms of the injury and distress I was under.On the 14 of December 2023, at about 9am, i called head office to report the matter, only after that area manager called me at about 11h00 informing he received the incident report from the store but he was too busy on the day to phone an injured customer I guess. We agreed with him telephonically that I'll send my doctor's note and invoice which I did on Sunday evening. I was expecting him to acknowledge receipt of my email, but unfortunately he did not bother himself to respond to my email. I phoned him to check if he received my emails, he rudely dismissed over the phone. He did not inform me of the turn around time as to how the case will be solved or if I should be expecting calls from whoever he sent my doctor's note to.

I really need some assistance regarding this because the man is silent and not communicating anything to me. The way I see it, they are not bothered about this. Unfortunately for me since the injury my eye still hurts to this day because of a neglected steel shoe rail.
