I am writing this review with great disappointment about the bad service I received from PEP store (Moteti Top spot). I tried on several times to make transactions @ this store as my small business is operating there as well but the kind of service, I received there was very bad / lot to be desired. I was assisted by the certain lady by the name of Doreen who was very rude to me. She denied assisting because I was paying with acceptable kind of cash (coin money - R5 and R2 SA rands). She told me that the store is not accepting that kind of cash. To my understanding if the payment is in any acceptable kind of cash in South Africa, customer is allowed to make transaction(s) with it. This is irrespective of how long it will take the cashier to count that money, as long as it will match the amount for the service or product. As a result of her attitude, I had to cancel / reverse my transaction(s) which surely became a loss for this store because this behaviour repeated itself and it seriously went out of hand (boiling point). I would like this store's highest management to correct this kind of behaviour, make her to apologize to me because she continuously kept embarrassing me in front of other customers, but I was not in wrong here. Does this mean the store only accept notes as the method of payment, only rich people can buy in this store? Where is the note(s) written about this rule in any Pep store? Please hello peter help me in sorting this issue because I am still intending to do business with this store branch in future. Your assistance in this regard and feedback will be appreciated.
