How fair is the recruitment process at PEP Store branches?

Hi there

I don't know if my review is suited for this platform. The thing is I app**** for a position that I solely believe I am qualified for at the KwaNobuhle complex, Uitenhage PEP Stores branch.

I've sent a message regarding feedback when I saw that there were not any emails sent in response to my applications but the manager didn't respond. Then I went there to enquire face to face but the manager said the position was already filled. It's really frustrating to not get a reason why an application was unsuccessful.

I would just like know why companies post vacancies but knowing the people who will get employment are people those managers know or a relative? I mean to take South Africa forward we need to build everyone. For example I come from a poor background and tried my best to improve my education to get a job that will uplift me and those within my community. It is really sad to see the that there might be possible ******** at play and all applicants whom app**** have not been called in for any interview.

Yesterday I went to register to study Human Resource Management so that in whatever company I'll join I may take people for their abilities and experience. For the creator's sake our country is experiencing no progress due to *******ion and all these ********* behaviour of those in the companies or in power.

Just wake up guys smell the coffee we need to build a progressive prosperous South Africa that gives everyone the chance to be better beings. To me what's wrong is wrong I don't care if I don't ever get a job opportunity in the future at pep. There's more negative I've experienced from the branch in town (Uitenhage mall at the entrance in marketing street wise), when I went to get a replacement Money PEP Card. The staff isn't serious about their job while there are many people out the who desire to make PEP a great organisation.
