General bad work ethics and disinterest in providing good customer service.

I went to Pep Montclair today and finally saw red at the disgusting staff attitude there.

As you enter the shop there is a stand with an assortment of cell phone accessories. Chargers, earphones, etc. Not. One single item price labeled. All are locked onto the display rack. Eventually a you f man sUnters over. I ask him for a price. I want a sele tion of chargers as some earphones. He has no keys, doesn't know the prices and acts as if he only has to give me the price of one item. I explain I want a few and he says hell have to ask. I ask why not marked. He doesn't know. I ask for the supervisor. A woman slouching at the cash desh is watching but ignores the situation. I assume she. Must be a cashier so can't assist as she only rings up the our hades. I ask hwe for a supervisor. She does y. Identify herself but stand up straighter and asks what is the problem. I point out the are a out there are no price tags to indicate prices. She then makes a lying statement that there are prices but the public remove them. Remove them from what???? There are not even places for tag holders on the stand. Having lived in the area for 40 years I am in the centre regularly and have never ever seen a price tag on that stand and I purchase air time plus clothing items for kids, sleepwear and sandals in pep regularly. I've looked at that stand often while my husband is at the till and always wondered why they don't price the items. The general attitude was that I cold complain Ann then..... It appears PEP head office sufferers the same endemic work ethic.

The service, barring the cashiers ring up purchases, at that particular branch has been appalling for many years. I certainly won't be supporting with them any longer. At Pep stores this attitude seems indemic in many of their branches these days.
