I am Ruth Mamaregane visted Pep store in Polokwane Mall Dtore no 6430 on 17.12.2024 at 10h58 i was doing transaction of R169 so Cashier Thapelo offered me an account .i refuse for credit account as i am old i gave her R200 for payment she said i am not supposed to pay because she has opened account for me.i continue said i dont want account then she gave me change . I thought the card that she gave me is for points like other store as she said. But now i am suprised as i continuely receiving calls from Pep saying i owe them. I gave my daughter the proof of purchase to check ic i did not pay ,shen said they paid with account there is no receipt for cash as i dont know english . So she said this shows Cashier has opened account for you without you knowing. My mother needs her money for that day and check the footage for that day.

How can your Consultants opened Accounts on pensioners? Are there taking advantage on them? Is hos they are reaching thier targets?
