***** at PEP cell

My house help went to pep cell in East London CBD to send money to her family in KZN. Her cousin who was ready to withdraw 20min later said that she was unsuccessful withdrawing the money since it already had been withdrawn. She then inquired with the manager at PEP who offered no assistance and directed her to call the helpline with her own airtime. The agents confirmed that the money had been withdrawn at an ABSA ATM shortly after she deposited it. the store offered no assistance and directed her to the police station. After obtaining a case number she went back to PEP and they insisted that they cannot help her.
