Follow up on refund signature

I received a call yesterday from the manager Heidie, at Pep stores branch in Bellville, Voortrekker road regarding my complaint on Hellopeter and she was very apologetic as she was not in the shop on Monday morning while I had my Refund issue with the two cashiers on duty.

The manager asked me to come to the shop to collect the refund of my purchase and I requested for the lay buy to be given to me as well as my refund monies as compensation for the embarrassment that i had to endure due to her staff's incompetence (The manager agreed and request to come into the store to collect both the lay buy and the money).

The manager was very happy to tell me over the phone that my request will be attended to and that i can come in to the shop at anytime today to collect the Lay buy which is two gowns for my son's.

On my lunch break, i walked to the shop as it is walking distance from where I work, just to find that the story now changed and that she is unable to give me the lay buy because the stock is automatically checked into the stock books the moment a transaction is cancelled or reversed on the system.

Yet again I walked out of the store embarrassed and I feel that the issue was not resolved and that i wasted my precious time.
