Failture to replace damaged tablet

on the 19th of august my sister went to pep to collect her vodafone tablet she had bought, she was given her tablet but when she got home and tried to insert her sim card, the slot would not close, she decided not to force it to avoid voiding the warranty and took it back to the store for replacement. <br> At the store, they refused to replace it and blamed her for the damage and said they will take it in for repairs brcause she had damaged it. I am failing to understand how they came to the conclusion that she damaged it and why they could not replace the Tablet because 7 days had not elapsed with the tablet in her possesion, infact it was merely a day.<br> <br> I am highly dissapointed in the service and product provided.
